Lake Quannapowitt

Lake Quannapowitt is a large, shallow lake at the north end of the town of Wakefield. It covers 254 acres and is about 3.6 miles around. This lake is emptied by the Saugus River.

Walden Pond Lake

Henry David Thoreau spent more than a year in the woods to the north of Walden Pond. He pioneered what is now known as happy sobriety.

Upper Charles Trail

This Trail is today more than 13 miles long and was once a railroad bed.

Longfellow Bridge

 It has a protected, specifically designated lane for pedestrians and bikes. You can take in the vista of the Charles River and the city.

Charles River Dam

You get some of the best views of the skyline of Boston and some of the smoothest cycling trails as well.

Memorial Drive

In Cambridge, Massachusetts, Memorial Drive is a parkway that runs alongside the Charles River and is named in honour of those who sacrificed their lives in World War I.
